Supreme Court of Canada to hear Schmeiser's appeal
May 8, 2003
Last fall, Percy Schmeiser sought leave from the Supreme Court of Canada to hear his appeal in his case with Monsanto. The Court has advised that they will consider Schmeiser's appeal in a decision that was issued on Thursday, May 8, 2003.
Schmeiser is elated at the news. He has commented that his is pleased with the decision to hear the case and that he intends to use the opportunity to the best of their ability.
It is expected that the Supreme Court will hear Schmeiser's appeal starting January 20, 2004
